Sentinel started out as Sentinel Technologies back in 2005 when Craig and Phillip decided to bring large organisation tool sets and support offerings to the Auckland SME marketplace.

The company quickly grew to have a large base of happy clients across Auckland and beyond due to friendly down to earth support provided by experienced technicians.

By the end of 2005 we had started to offer fixed price support to our clients for a truly “all-in” service plan.  This proved popular as clients could budget accurately and enjoyed hassle free service.

Since 2013 we have seen a steady movement of client’s desiring to move to cloud based services instead of on premise equipment.  In response we have partnered with Microsoft and assisted clients to move to Office 365 and Azure, and other cloud based options.

Fast forward to 2016 and we have bought our own commercial property, from which we operate, and launched our new website, aligning our email, website and company name with Sentinel.nz.

Craig Inglis

Craig is married with two kids and in his spare time enjoys days at the beach with the family.

Other hobbies include music and electronics.

Craig spent 7 years in the Air Force of which the last 3 years was full of IT related projects followed by leaving the Forces to provide IT support for the whole base as a civilian.
